Mike Sunner Bloem was born in Khon Kaen, Thailand on September 19th, 1985. Apart from 2 years in The Netherlands, most of his childhood was spent in South East Asia, living in countries like Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Singapore. Although originally working with video he transitioned to single frame photography in 2002 upon taking a photography class in Indonesia. He now resides in the Netherlands, and although he is pursuing a medical degree at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, he also works as a freelance photographer, and cameraman.
